The adage that big things come in small packages is certainly true in the case of Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Known as the Christmas card town after being featured on several Hallmark cards, Elkhorn is the county seat. As such it hosts many enjoyable events including antique fairs, county fairs, classic car shows, and the like.
Additionally, our community has 9 and 18-hole golf courses, wonderful hiking, biking, and ski trails, an outdoor music venue, several terrific restaurants, antique shops, wineries, lakes for water skiing jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and boating and a semi-private sandy beach within 2-20 minutes of us. The surrounding area is the perfect combination of small-town quaintness and rural bucolic settings where you can see horses, cows, llamas, lambs, and several varieties of birds as you drive, bike or walk while taking in the sites.
We are conveniently located 15 minutes from Lake Geneva, 45 minutes from Milwaukee and Madison, and 90 minutes from Chicago.
