Ye Olde Manor House is a boutique bed and breakfast with 8 guest rooms, including a suite that can accommodate up to five guests and a room with a private balcony that can accommodate three, and all have private baths. We have a satellite TV, DVD player, and movie library in our living room and atrium, and the Manor Suite has a DVD player. Our indoor heated pool is open year-round and is kept a comfortable 86-88 degrees.
Ye Olde Manor House is the perfect spot for short or long vacations, romantic getaways, weddings, family reunions, gatherings of friends, and retreats of all kinds. Guests can reserve individual rooms or the entire Manor house, which can accommodate up to 20 guests. And, with over 30 years of experience with meeting and event planning, we can help you organize your meetings and retreats. Our goal is to help our guests have the most relaxing, enjoyable stay possible so that they can relax, renew and rejuvenate.
Our decor is a mixture of antiques and classic new pieces designed for comfort and elegance. Guests can swim indoors while listening to their favorite music, relax in the sun or shade on our landscaped three acres, play games, and watch movies. We provide a full gourmet breakfast every morning and will happily prepare gluten free, vegetarian, vegan meals and all other dietary requirements upon request.
The adage that big things come in small packages is certainly true in the case of Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Known as the Christmas card town after being featured on several Hallmark cards, Elkhorn is the county seat. As such it hosts many enjoyable events including antique fairs, county fairs, classic car shows, and the like.
Additionally, our community has 9 and 18-hole golf courses, wonderful hiking, biking, and ski trails, an outdoor music venue, several terrific restaurants, antique shops, wineries, lakes for water skiing jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and boating and a semi-private sandy beach within 2-20 minutes of us. The surrounding area is the perfect combination of small-town quaintness and rural bucolic settings where you can see horses, cows, llamas, lambs, and several varieties of birds as you drive, bike or walk while taking in the sites.
We are conveniently located 15 minutes from Lake Geneva, 45 minutes from Milwaukee and Madison, and 90 minutes from Chicago.
