Four Gables Bed & Breakfast
Four Gables Bed & Breakfast is a unique 1906 Queen Anne home listed on the the National Register of Historic Places. It was originally a farmhouse and is now tastefully converted into a bed and breakfast. Four Gables is located in a country setting but is only 1/4 mile from the city limits. It is furnished with unusual antiques and decorated with a Victorian flare.
The only ghosts in residence are in the prints by artist Charles Peterson which are scattered throughout the house. Relax in the library, parlor, or stroll the grounds at your leisure. Enjoy a gourmet breakfast in the dining room.
Trompe L’oile Room: As the name suggests, this room is uniquely painted and decorated by the resident artist. It has an antique queen bed with private bath.
Roses and Ribbon Room: Decorated in blues and mauve with a Louis XV style bedroom set. An oversize king bed for luxurious comfort. The bath has Portugal picture tiles embedded in the tiles surrounding the single whirlpool with direct access to the library and wet bar.
Petite Room: This is for a third person in a group. It has a very comfortable antique twin bed and shared bath.
